Quickest way to go, and easiest to explain is to use the ALI:

40 microcuries ingested = 50 rem to the thyroid, so 1 microcurie = 1.25 rem
to the thyroid.

100 microcuries ingested = 5 rem whole body, so 1 microcurie = 50 millirem
whole body.
