Well why not give us "apples to apples" data.  You state that the known range 
of bakground gamma radiation in southern Ontario is from 2.5 to 10 micro R/h 
Where? on contact with the soil or at 1 meter above the soil?Secondly have
you read anything on the problems of estimating risk from low level radiation?
