CBT

Someone sent me a question about our CBT program, and I deleted his
message before I got confirmation of delivery of the reply. Ah well, so
I will have to weather the storm of every not interested in this message.
But for those interested in CBT, a few facts of our program follow, and I
will have it on a site where it can be downloaded next week. I will post the
address in a few days.

We have a computer based training program for our facility users. It is
available and has been distributed to over 200 requesters. I will have it
where it can be downloaded via internet soon, but if you want it sooner send me
5 high density 3.5" floppies. It is written in a series of modules, some of
which would not be of much use to a medical facility. They are titled....
Basic Radiation Science, Radiation Dosimetry, Risk (backround rad exposure,
etc), Rad Protection principles, Rules, Emergency Response, Safety, Beam User
Safety, Rabbit User safety, Lab usr topics.

The system is written using an authoring language called ToolBook. What is
distributed is the runtime version. You need the authoring program to change
the content.
