Re: FW: Permanent Shielding

Contact EPRI or perhaps Dresden Station, Commonwealth Edison. I
believe they have just used a special mirror-type insulation that
includes lead on their reactor water clean-up loops. This should get
you fairly close to where you might want to go...A possible point of
contact at Dresden station would be Mark Friedman, 815-942-2920 ext.
     3565.

----------
Has anyone in the Commercial nuclear power business successfully implemented
permanent shielding in their Drywell/containment?

If so, what type of shielding and what company provided the shielding?
Any additional information regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated!
