Lake Tahoe HPS Meeting

The Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Health Physics Society in conjunction with the 
Northern California Chapter of the Health Physics Society is presenting the 
Fourth Annual J. Newell Stannard Lecture Series: "Excellence in Radiation 
Protection" on April 12-13, 1996.  The meeting will be held at the Hyatt Regency 
in Incline Village, Nevada (North Lake Tahoe).   Newell Stannard will again be 
our special guest.

The technical sessions include the following:

	"Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual (MARSIM) - 
	Update and Outline"  Colleen Petulo

	"The Role of Dosimetry in a Changing Industry"  Tom Goff

	"Financial Assurance - Who, What, When, Where and How?"  Joe Scinto

	"Neutron Detection and Shielding for the Next Millennia"  Jeff Kleck

	"The Status of Low Level Waste Disposal in the U.S."  Jim Shaffner

	"Principles of Neutron Capture Therapy"  Ron Rogus

	"Recent Changes in the Transportation Regulations (49 CFR and 10 CFR 71) 
	- the Short Course"  Trisha Edgerton

The accommodations are spectacular, the snow is excellent and the games of 
chance have been kind to attendees.
