Re: Management of highly radioactive human cadavers



What happened to the concept of dose limits to individual members of the 
public?  My copy of 10 CFR 20 says that I have to limit exposure to these 
individuals to 100 millirem per year TEDE.  

And what happened to the Clean Air Act - 10 millirem per person per year 
limit from effluents.

Also note that I-131 is a medium energy beta emitter, which small 
quantities in contact with the skin can cause significant exposure 
(not to mention thyroid burdens from uptakes).
