(sarcastic comment) Maybe we should petition the FCC to add the
"RADIOACTIVE" to their list of forbidden words?
Maybe having parents and children purchase and enjoy (respectively?) these
products, something good will happen: citizens may (symbolically) face up
to and conquer their unhealthy fear of things "radioactive". They'll GET
USED TO IT. It won't come as such a shock to them when they learn that many
everyday objects are in fact radioactive. Demystification - a goal of
"public education" programs - will have occurred!
Maybe I'm backward, but I think that would be a positive result.
