I just got a call from a researcher who will soon be taking his family to 
Minsk for a week long visit.  He was looking for confirmation that the dose 
to his family will not be worth worrying about [ especially because of the 
recent fires near Chernobyl.]  He is also asking if there are any 
precautions a reasonable person should take if visiting this area.  Any 
input from radsafers would be most appreciated.
