     ALL materials that leave the Radiation Controlled Area are frisked, 
     either by health phsyics or the individual. The individual is 
     responsible to frisk their own personal items, such as papers, books 
     etc. Health Physics frisks all other materials and provides a blue tag 
     identifying that the materials were frisked and are clean "below 
     criteria".
     
     The assumption can't be made that the materials were not in a 
     contaminated area. You would be surprised how many individuals are 
     found to be contaminated, when they were only in "clean" areas, when 
     they exit through an IPM-8. The same can be said about materials 
     leaving the area.
