A few years ago, the folks who run the sewage system here in Seattle made
serious noises about promulgating a rule that would have required all
hospitals doing nuclear medicine to inform them when they were going to
release RAM to the sanitary sewers (which are of course the only ones to
which it should be released). That's right, we would have had to tell them
when a patient was going to void. Nothing came of it, fortunately.
