If the daughters he's talking about are protactinium-234 and thorium-234, I
would think that they could easily be decayed-in-storage. Actually, even if
they're not the above two (I can't tell if it's U238 or 235 we're talking
about, except that since we don't make plutonium anymore, I wouldn't think
it'd be U238), the fact that they ingrow so quickly suggests short halflives,
doesn't it? Sorry that I don't have decay tables handy.
