Diurnal Variations in Pu Excretion

We are interesting in information concerning replacing 24-hour composite
urine samples with a single spot sample ... particularly for plutonium
bioassay. Although scaling by creatinine seems a common practice, recent
studies show a considerable variation in creatinine excretion during the
day. Recent studies also show the bioassay of several heavy metals and
organics using spot samples may be possible via an adjustment for urine
flow rate. ANY INFORMATION IN THIS REGARD WOULD BE HELPFUL.
