Midwest/Prairie State Chapter Meeting
Hello Everyone:
CHAPTER MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT
There will be a JOINT meeting of the Midwest and Prairie State
Chapters at Argonne National Laboratory on September 21, 1996.
Argonne National Laboratory is celebrating its 50th Anniversary.
In commemoration, Argonne is holding an open house. Over 100
demonstrations, exhibits, and presentations, including the world's
brightest x-ray source (the 7-GeV Advance Photon Source),
superconductivity and magnetic levitation, new reactor museum,
human DNA research, effects of global climate change through
weather modeling, and the world's most powerful IBM parallel
supercomputer.
The Midwest and Prairie State Chapters are jointly sponsoring
lecture by:
