Keith:
The information on the equipment is as follows:
Model 16 Purchased new 7-8 years ago. Used only for training demos
and classroom lectures. Not calibrated in last year. Current price from
Ludlum is $580. I am asking $350.
Model 177 About 10 - 12 years old, new GEL cell and fast charger
accessory 2 years ago. Ludlums new price is $575, I am asking $300
Model 2200 One of the original 2200 units made by ludlum, this unit was
returned to the factory about 4 years ago for replacement of the display
elements with the modern large LEDs, electronic evaluation, and calibration.
The only defect I know about is the leather & padding is missing from the
handle. The current Ludlum catalog is $1425, I am asking $750.
Model 44-3 about 10 years old, and the XTAL is 1" diameter by 1mm
thick. It is best for Iodine and XRD/XRF work. When last calibrated to a
129I source it showed about 6.5% Efficiency. Ludlum's price is $370, I am
asking $100.
TA Pancake GM About 15 years old. New GM tube about 2 years ago.
Anodized aluminum case with lead shield on back/sides of tube. Last
calibration was ~4.5%E for 14C. Asking $100.
Radiation Alert Model 4, about 6 years old. "pocket" miniature mr/hr GM
counter with spare tube. Very linear response when last calibrated. Asking
$150.
Spares/Cables Include new Ludlum model 2/3 mother board, 2 BNC to C
adapters, 2 BNC cables (18", 72"), 40 inch C cable. Ludlum meter bezel,
glass, and 202-330 meter face. Asking $150.
I am selling the equipment because I had to take a disability retirement
last year, and can not work in a chemical/laboratory environment.
Therefore, I have not calibrated or used them in the last year, and have no
means of determining the current efficiency of the detectors. I have
checked the electronics with a GM probe against a lantern mantle, and they
seem OK. If you are interested, any sale would of course be contingent on
the equipment operating in a satisfactory manner, and does not include
shipping/insurance. Thanks for your inquiry.
