RE: CellPhones

Health Devices published a Guidance Article (Feb-Mar 1996 - Vol 25, Nos.
2-3) to update their previous guidance that recommended prohibiting
cellular phone use throughout the hospital. This Guidance Article is
less restrictive and provides specific areas where they feel restriction
is warranted. Our medical maintenance personnel maintain this journal.
Let me know if you have problems finding it.

Question: do cellular phones produce any unwanted effects on CT
scanners,
pacemakers, IV infusion pumps, or any other medical equipment? My
first
response is no due to frequency and power of a cell phone. Thanks in
advance; reply openly or to me specifically.
