RE: Cremation & Sr-89
Check with Kathleen Kaufman, Director of Radiation Management for Los
Angeles County. She gave a paper on this, as I recall, a couple of years
ago at the CRCPD annual meeting in San Antonio, and this is where I'd
start. A/C 213 738-4059; fax 213 380-5630; voice mail 213 738-4098. I
suspect most states do not have regulations covering cremation.......yet.
It's one of those back-burner items. Most folks don't like to think about
it, I think.
