Re: CO-2 decon



San Onofre NGS has used CO2 decon for tools, scaffold poles, etc.  They
purchased their own unit because it was relatively successful at removing
contamination and minimized radwaste generation.  Steve Enright was the
cognizant supervisor. I am unaware on any leaching problem.  At TMI-2 we
used abrasive liquid blasting because we had contamination levels on tools
and equipment on the order of hundreds of mr/hr, and CO2 was not aggressive
enough.
