No I don't think that volatility per se will be a problem.  

However, if the plant material has a high activity, you possibly could 
crap up your oven through aerosolization.  Fines could become airborne
due to air currents in the oven.  In addition, rapid heating of hydrated
plant material will cause cell walls to rupture and release an aerosol.  

If necessary, we can engineer our way around this.

Are we having problems?
