Update of CRPA/CRSO '97 Conference

Good morning,

Planning Update for CRPA/CRSO '97 - Focusing Real Risks

Plans are well underway for our Conference at Dunsmuir Lodge in Victoria,
BC, Canada, May 12 to 15, 1997. Our Scientific Program, chaired by Dr.
Wayne Greene, is developing well. In addition to the scientific papers, we
will be offering a number of workshops including one on current issues in
non-ionizing radiation and one held in cooperation with the Atomic Energy
Control Board.

ACCOMMODAATIONS:

The registration information will be mailed out soon. PLEASE BE AWARE that
accommodations at Dunsmuir Lodge are extremely limited and first preference
will be given to delegates who will be sharing accommodations for the full
period of the conference and have fully paid for both registrations and
both accommodations in advance. If you are interested in staying at
Dunsmuir, PLEASE make contact with your fellow colleagues who will be
attending in order to agree on sharing accommodations. Alternative
accommodations will be available at the University of Victoria and in
hotels located in nearby Sidney. Bus transportation from these other
locations will be available at an additional cost.

REGISTRATION:

Registration includes many items not covered in the past. Costs for all
lunches during the conference, the gala banquet and snacks on two casual
evenings are included in the full registration fee. Please note that full
registration also includes free registration to all workshops and a copy of
the hard-covered IRPA text on non-ionizing radiation edited by Dr. Greene.

EXHIBITORS:

Response from exhibitors has been excellent to date and we expect a number
of exciting displays. Exhibitors who have not yet made their decisions are
reminded that there is limited exhibition space available, so be sure to
contact Brian Phillips, Exhibitor & Sponsorship Co-Chair, as soon as
possible (Email: bgphilli@bcsc02.gov.bc.ca).
