Alpha Frisk Release Criteria With an RM-24

     Hello Radsafe -- Happy Holidays!
     
     We are evaluating the ability of our RM-24 alpha/beta frisker to "see" 
     100 dpm/100cm^2 on a direct frisk; our free release limit (20 dpm/100 
     cm^2 is our smearable limit, just in case you are curious!).  
     
     We have Sommer's paper (HPS 28:pp 755-761), which is helpful, but are 
     wondering if anyone in Radsafe land may be able to lend a helpful 
     suggestion, or another helpful reference..... even an "educated" 
     opinion may be useful, as we are just starting this exercise.
     
     Please respond to the list only with "general interest" posts
