Re[2]: Support for food irradiation
The only reason Hormel is putting out the survey is because they
probably know that irradiation is a good thing to do from a technical
standpoint, but they want the final approval from mom at the grocery
store, not the NRC, FDA, or World Health Organization.

I called today and entered extension 5269 at the prompt. I had a
conversation with a very nice lady, and once she found out I was
pro-irradiation, she volunteered some info about what they are trying to do.
Try 1-800-533-2000 again, and either input 5269 at the prompt or give the
extension to the operator when he/she answers.

I called the number at 10:45 EST and got a recording saying the number
was "no longer in service". I tried twice again with the same result.
