Hazmat Toxmedic Course



The Arizona Emergency Medicine Research Center,(AEMRC) will once again          
offer a 3-day "Hazardous Materials Toxmedic Training Program" at the
University of Arizona in Tucson, Az March 7-9, 1997.
 
This course is taught by medical toxicologists and will be of interest to
paramedics, firefighters, nurses, physicians, and other health care
providers including waste management and risk management personnel.
  
Session topics include:                                                         
 
General Principles (incident eval & patient assesment); Toxic Inhalations;
Pesticides, Caustics and Solvents; Misc. Agents, Hazmat Drug Box; and
Integrated Hazmat System Response.
