It appears that Mr. Beyer may have confused the use of science with
the misuse of science. Perhaps a quick read of the recently-late
Carl Sagan's most recent book "Demon Haunted World: Science As A
Candle in the Dark" would enlighten his awareness regarding the
misuse of science and its associated implications.
