check p. 121 in NCRP REPORT NO. 94. It says " Comparative studies
between smokers and non-smokers show the conc. of Pb-210 and
P0-210 in the lungs and ribs of cigarette smokers are two to three
times higher than non-smokers (Holtzman and Ilcewicz, 1966)". The
previous table 7.8 only gives activity per Kg for average persons
lungs and not non smoking population. Perhaps the original
Holtzman paper can shed more light on subject.
