Re: Rad Tech cancer incidenc

Hi Radsafers:

Back in 1988, I received a number of rad. history requests from the "Univ. of
Minnesota - Amer. Registry of Rad. Techs. - NIH Collaborative Health Study".
This research was intended to study exactly what Kathy and I'm sure, many others
are interested in. I found a copy of one of the requests in my files signed by
Jack S, Mandel, M.P.H., Ph.D., Associate Professor along with the phone number
(612) 626-4825.

I also was interested to see the results of this study but I never did see them
published in the Journals I read or any mention of the study by reference. Does
anyone out there know if this study was published and where I could find a copy
of it??? I'm still interested in it after all these years... %^)

Hello,

Does anybody have any information on recent cancer incidence for radiologic
technologists? Prompt reply would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
