EPA radon in drinking water

     For those interested, EPA published a notice in today's Federal 
     Register (Vol. 62, No. 99, pages 27991-27992) that announces a 
     stakeholders meeting on National Primary Drinking Water 
     Regulations for Radon-222.  The meeting will be June 26 in 
     Washington, DC.
     
     The EPA is committed to propose regulations for radon, including 
     maximum contaminant levels, mitigation, and public involvement.
