Call for Papers



The 31st Midyear Topical Meeting of the Health Physics Society will be 
held February 8-11, 1998 in Mobile, Alabama.  The topic for this meeting
is "Good Health Physics Practices".  The deadline for submission of 
abstracts has been extended to July 15, 1997.
Input for the technical sessions is expected to represent all areas 
involved in good health physics practices.  These will include topics 
from authors at Medical Facilities, Power Reactors, Accelerators, 
Government Facilities, Universities, and Private Sector Health Physics 
programs.  This meeting is intended to cover a large variety of 
operational health physics subjects including environmental 
measurements, radiation monitoring, waste management, and 
decommissioning.
     
Any Health Physics Society member may submit an abstract.  Non-member 
submittals are welcome, but require member sponsorship (not necessarily 
co-authorship).  The name and signature of the sponsor must appear on 
the Abstract Form in the designated space.
     
Abstracts should be submitted to the Midyear Program Committee to be 
received by July 15, 1997.  Please submit to the following address:
