Re: Fixed Surface (concrete) For Tritium???

     ISO 7503-2
     Evaluation of Surface Contamination
     Part 2:
     Tritium surface contamination

This international standard provides some good information to those
trying to do tritium surface measurements. I'm sure there are other
sources, but, I bought my copy from Global Engineering Documents in
California. Their numbers are 1-800-854-7179 and 1-714-261-1455.

Does anyone know of any regulatory guidelines, procedures, protocols, etc.
for performing field measurments of tritium contamination on builg\ding
surfaces i.e. concrete? Preferably a tritium survey guideline for
unrestricted release.

Also any comments on the various field instruments designed for tritium. I
have seen an Eberline 100 cm^2 gas flow proportional detector, but I have
reservations about the reproducibility of the gas concentration. Any war
stories welcome.
