Uranium Prices
July 10, 1997
The international price of natural uranium was down to about $7 per pound in
1993-1994. Suddenly in the fall of 1995 it began to rise and peaked at
$15.50 per pound in July 1996. Since then it has been dropping. The current
price is about $10.50 per pound.
Does anyone know why uranium prices doubled last year?
Does anyone know why the price is dropping now?
Is there an increasing world demand for uranium?
What nation is the major supplier of natural uranium?
Is the U.S. the major supplier of enriched uranium?
Thanks...
Otto
