Radiochromic dye film for alpha/neutron dosimetry

Radiochromic dye film is a useful dosimetric material for dose
mapping. A radiation induced colour change can easily be quantified
using microdensitometry to provide rapid 2 or 3 dimensional dose
distributions. We use this regularly for the dosimetry of
microscopic radioactive particles (hot particles). Our work to date
has involved hot-particles which are primarily beta /gamma emitters
such as cobalt 60. We would like to extend this work to look at high
LET radiations such as alpha radiation (also from hot - particles)
and neutrons. Does anyone have any experience or know of any
references to the use of radiochromic dyes for high LET radiation
dosimetry?
