There are now two postings about contaminated lead products on the Food
and Drug Administration/Center for Devices and Radiological Health Web
site (http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/safety.html) They are dated 6/13/97 and
8/5/97. The first describes the problem, and the second lists some
firms that have recalled affected products. The list of firms involved
is not inclusive, as various legal steps have yet to be completed for
all firms. FDA will be issuing further updates as information is
releasable.
