HELP!!! The NRC is wondering why I chose to use the decay corrected
output of a Sr-90 applicator as stated originally by the manufacturer
rather than a more recent NIST calibration which differed by 11%.

My rationale was based on a statement made by the UW ADCL at the
1989 AAPM meeting describing a 37% difference between the ADCL and
NIST stated output. It seemed a better idea to stick with the manufacturer
until this gets resolved.

Does anyone know if this has been resolved since that time? Would you
change your treatment time if the NIST value was 11% different than the
manufacturere's value? Both the NRC and I would like to know. Thanks.
