Greenpeace overruns German nuclear power plant

It seems the Greens are getting more restless in Germany. No mention
as to any violence, confrontations or arrests. Time to beef up
security in their area. Probably have some fallout (no pun intended)
here with respect to security measures.

BRUNSBUETTEL, Germany, Sept 7 (AFP) - Some 60 Greenpeace
activists overran the nuclear plant in Brunsbuettel on Sunday to
protest the transfer of spent nuclear fuel to a French reprocessing
plant, local police said.
The environmental campaigners scaled the wall of the reactor in
northern Germany and hoisted a banner saying "Nuclear waste from
Germany - Leukaemia in La Hague."
The international ecological organisation has been leading a
campaign against the reprocessing plant in La Hague on France's west
coast over recent months.
In June, Greenpeace said water samples taken around a pipeline
leading from the plant out to sea showed radioactive levels 17 million
times above the sea's normal radioactivity.
