Radiogical Survey Frequency

     Hello All,
     
     Our company is currently looking at the possibility of substituting 
     trending dosimeters for routine radiation area surveys. This change 
     will be used to reduce total accumulated exposure currently required 
     for the surveys.
     
     Are there any Radsafers that currently using this practice?
     
     Any regulations that prevent this change?
     
     If using Electronic Dosimeters, do they need DAILY response checks?
     
     How did you justify the change?
     
     Any help in this area will be greatly appreciated. You can email me
