Re: SCRAM

While I was employed at the Arizona Atomic Energy Commission I 
use to attend the monthly meetings of the Arizona Chapter of the 
American Nuclear Society.  Dr. Norman Hilberry use to attend these 
meetings also and I personally heard him tell that SCRAM stood for 
his duty as Safety Control Rod Axe Man at the CP-1 reactor.
