Bill, 

I agree that this sounds as though it might be a deliberate contamination event and
that we should be prepared for such events, but let us be careful with words such as
"epidemic."  A few cases over a decade in this radiation worker population hardly
constitutes an epidemic; especially where the evens are similar to the events at
NIH and MIT where the doses were too small to have discernible adverse health
effects.
