The exposure is above 10CFR20 limits, but this should not be an issue 
for the US power plant, at all.. The dose was received due to lousy 
radiation control practices, outside of the USA. Their whole program, 
that allowed this to occur, should be evaluated by the appropriate 
Swedish authorities. As far as the Cook Plant, they did conduct the 
incoming whole body count. They did find the problem upon the 
individual exiting the plant, through the portal monitor, and, they 
notified the appropriate authorities once the contamination was 
identified. Seems that they did what was expected.

This type of incident had happened a couple of times while I worked 
at FPL. The cases involved contractors that had worked in European 
power plants (not Sweden). The portal monitor caught the 
contamination, and, a survey of their hotel room found other 
contaminated clothing.

This points out the need not only to have an individual exit through 
a portal monitor, but also the need to enter the plant through a 
portal monitor. CATCH the problem BEFORE the individual enters your 
restricted area.
