Sorry about that last message, I used the forbidden word (which I dare
not mention again) and the message was truncated: Looks like I have to
eat crow before I get to the turkey.

Assuming 11 Bq/l or 1.1 E4 Bq/ cubic meter

The K-40 EDE dose coeficient for water immersion in Federal Guidance
Report 12 is 1.74 E-17 Sv/Bq s per cubic meter.

The product of the two is 1.9 E-13 Sv/s. This converts to 6.9 E-10 Sv/hr
or 6.9 E-8 rem per hour barring any bad logic or interpretations along the
way.

This would be more than offset by the reduced exposure to
terrestrial gammas.
