The trouble is that in the game of public relations, all you have to do is
say something, the more emotionally charged the better. Reasoned arguments
come off looking like evasions or excuses and seldom make for good sound
bytes. The letter in question is jammed with lots of sound bytes that sound
good but have no lopgical or scientific basis..... but try to prove that in
the court of public opinion. We in the nuc industry have a looong uphill
battle in the P.R. area. The industry really botched it the first time
around.
