Re Letters to the Editor

The original issue discussed was whether or not pre-written templates 
should be used as a basis for responding to letters to the editor, 
etc. The discussion has transgressed from this. One can be factual, 
and concise, all at the same time. Each issue must be addressed on 
its own merits.
