The reporter was Charles Osgood.  I have found it an excellent
series so far, by the way, in case I sounded too negative.
And yes, covering 100 hundred years of scientific progress in
virtually all major fields is a considerable challenge.

I just have the funny feeling that Dr. Kaku is turning into
a new sort of media scientist ala Carl Sagan...
