Octagon, Inc. is accepting candidates for three Senior Health Physicist
positions at a government remediation project in Ohio.  The positions
are in response to a request for proposal.  Anticipated start date is
March 2, 1998 for an initial term of one year with options for two
additional years.  Work hours are anticipated to be 40 hours per week.

Qualifications required:

The candidate must have a BS in Health Physics or a related field and a
minimum of five (5) years technical work experience in safety, health
physics, nuclear operations, radiological health and/or environmental
health, with at least two (2) years experience as a Health Physicist at
a DOE facility. The candidate must possess ability and willingness to
work in shifts.

Qualifications desired but not required:

Previous qualification as a Radiological Control Technician at a DOE
facility, previous experience as a Health Physicist at a Nuclear power
facility, current Root Cause Analysis Training and/or experience or
training in Price-Anderson Amendments Act evaluation and reporting.

NRRPT registration and/or ABHP certification is also desirable.
