RE: Airport X-rays & Computers



Regarding the HP Printer that died. . . .

I find it very hard to believe.  I have carried a portable computer and
printer around the world several times, with rads of X-rays, and found
no problem.

I had an HP Portable (320) that just up and died one day for no reason.
I bought a 340 to replace it that has worked "sort of OK" for the last
year or so.  After using both models for several years, I have come to
the conclusion that the HP portables simply are not very well engineered
and do not live up to HP's otherwise high standards and reputation.

I'd advise her to pursue a warranty adjustment, or buy a Canon portable
and be done with it.
