NCCHPS 21 May Meeting
***** May 21 Dinner Meeting & Vendors' Night *****
The NCCHPS Annual Vendors' Night will be held Thursday, May 21 at
the
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory South Cafeteria. There are
20
vendors already scheduled to attend, and associated chapter
business
and festivities always make the event an affair that shouldn't be
missed! PLUS... election results will be announced, prizes will
be
given away, and information about the new Las Positas College
course
on Radiation Safety will be available at the meeting.
Please join us for dinner, professional enrichment, and fun. A
special invitation is extended to all HP technicians, industrial
hygienists and their guests- we hope to see you there!
PLACE: Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory South Cafeteria
DATE: Thursday, May 21, 1998
DIRECTIONS: take I-580 east toward Livermore; turn right a Vasco;
turn
left onto East Ave; turn left at second entrance to LLNL, then left
again (before guard gate); South Cafeteria on left, parking on both
sides.
SCHEDULE:
6:00 - Refreshments (wine, etc.) and meet the vendors
7:00 - Dinner
8:00 - Some business/activities/ more mingling with vendors.
MENU: An ITALIAN BUFFET, featuring Manicotti, Cannelloni, Lasagna,
Ravioli, and Spinach Tortellini with Sausage.
The price of the meal with tax and service charge is $20.00 or
$25.00
for walk-ins.

*** PAULA TRINOSKEY SELECTED FELLOW OF HPS from Bev DeOcampo
***
The NCCHPS was recently informed of the selection of Paula
Trinoskey
as a Fellow of the HPS. This award is given to senior members of
the
Society in recognition of their significant administrative,
educational, and/or scientific contributions to the profession of
health physics. Paula will be presented with her award at the
Awards
Luncheon held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Society
in
Minneapolis, MN on July 16. Paula's name will henceforth be
included
in the listing of the Fellows shown in the Health Physics
directory.
Congratulations, Paula, upon recognition of your dedication and
service to the Society!
