Helen Caldicott - a synonym for radiation phobia?

Helen Caldicott is "down-under" making her usual claims about radiation
(including the "one pound of plutonium is enough to...") to some local
community action groups opposing the siting of a 20 MWth multipurpose
reactor to replace the 40 year old HIFAR reactor. At a public meeting on 19
May, she mentioned her activities in trying to close down Brookhaven,
plutonium emissions from Livermore, safety at Millstone etc etc. I've
noticed some recent radsafe postings on Helen's Hershey bars and the
postings on http://www.ntanet.net/publicinfo.html in response to the LA
Times article.

Our primary concern is to effectively refute the misleading information she
can convey, particularly in the lead-up to the public comment period on a
draft environmental impact statement for the project. Hence, I would
appreciate any information on the success others have had in refuting
Caldicott's radiation phobia before it spreads too far. Is there anyone who
has publicly and effectively debated her on these topics in the U.S.?
