Re: Safety Questioned at Nuclear Plant -Reply

The European Nuclear Society (at http://nucnet.aey.ch/nucnet/wahlstrom.htm)
describes Björn Wahlström's book "Like A Thin Apple Peel – Funny Short
Stories About Nuclear Power" as having the underlying message "if the man in
the street does not understand what the experts are saying, or does not trust
what they say, then it is the experts themselves who are to blame."

It can be satisfying to blame others (antis, politicians, extremists, lawyers,
the public, "oil money", etc.) for nuclear power's troubles, but, if nuclear
power "experts" can't make their case to the public, perhaps they aren't
REALLY experts.

Respect is not earned until respect is given.

Perhaps, the real question is. . .will nuclear survive until the technology
 accepts the public.
