I haven't seen or heard anything about anyone's "banishment" from
RADSAFE, however, if it is true, I would like to point out something.
This is a privately owned and operated list, and if Melissa feels
like getting rid of someone, it is her perogative. We are her
guests, and should treat the list as such, since she has put alot of
time and effort into keeping things running smoothly for as long as I
can remember. Belonging to this list is a privilage, not a right,
and if someone was banned it was likely for a good reason, at least
as far as Melissa is concerned. Believe me... No administrator
enjoys taking corrective actions on a list. It is a pain and they
have to put up with the above sort of response.
So let's not start flinging comments of facism around when we don't
know all the facts, and maybe take a moment to thank Melissa once
again for all her efforts in developing this wonderful forum (but do
it in private email). If she says something is off-topic, then it
is. Don't argue with her on the list, send her a private email.
Now, let's all be nice and get back to discussing health physics.
Regards,
Greg Sackett
