At Berkeley we use the Ludlum Micro R (which it most definately is NOT) and the Bicron Micro REM. We prefer the Bicron whenever possible - ie. when access permits - since it is really Micro REM - (for photons only of course). Judge for yourself - compare the energy response curves of both --- BIG difference. About the same sensitivity.
