Sensitive Test Identifies Radiation Damage

I was reading through an R&D mag that mainly deals with electronics when I
found the following.

"Sensitive test identifies radiation damage. Researchers at the Univ. of
North Carolina, Chapel HIll (919-962-2091), and the Univ. of Alberta,
Canada, have developed a test for genetic damage caused by ionizing
radiation and carcinogens. The test is 10,000 to 100,000 times more
sensitive than other assays. It uses antibodies that recognize specific
kinds of DNA damage linked to fluorescent antibodies."

Does anyone know anything about this?
