Abbreviations, continued

     
     Let's not forget the rep (roentgen equivalent person).
     
     Note, some early authors (Glasstone, 1955; Attix et al, 1968) use the 
     lower case (e.g., rem, r, rep) when describing these entities.  Might 
     I suggest using ICRU, 1938 to arbitrate this matter? 
     
     Just my opinion.
